Refund Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: January 2026
At 3DChum, all products are custom-manufactured based on customer-submitted files and specifications. Because each order is made to order, our refund and cancellation terms are structured to protect both the customer and our production process.
1. Order Review & Approval
After you submit your design file and specifications, we will review your file for manufacturability, material usage, and estimated print time.
You will receive a final price and production timeline for approval before manufacturing begins.
No production will start without your confirmation.
2. Processing Deposit
A non-refundable processing deposit is charged at submission. This deposit covers:
File review and manufacturability analysis
Production planning and slicing
Material and machine allocation
The deposit is applied toward your final total once your order is approved and enters production.
3. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before final approval for a full refund of any amount paid beyond the processing deposit.
Once final approval is given and production begins, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.
4. Refund Eligibility
Because all products are custom-made, refunds are only issued under the following conditions:
The finished product does not match the approved specifications
The product is defective due to manufacturing error
We do not issue refunds for:
Design flaws within the customer-submitted file
Fitment issues caused by inaccurate measurements
Material or finish preferences after approval
Minor cosmetic variations inherent to 3D printing
5. Returns
Returns are only accepted for manufacturing defects.
If approved, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
Clear photos of the defect
Your order number
If a return is authorized, we will provide return instructions.
6. Reprints
If a defect is confirmed, we will offer:
A free reprint, or
A partial or full refund, at our discretion
7. Shipping Issues
3DChum is not responsible for delays or damage caused by the shipping carrier.
If your package arrives damaged, please contact the carrier directly and notify us so we can assist.
